Reno Omokri Raises N1.2m for Onitsha Fire Victim Who Lost All His Goods

Reno Omokri who was a Special Assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has succeeded in raising N1.2million for a Trader who lost all his goods in the Onitsha fire Outbreak.

The fire outbreak which was caused by a Petrol Tanker that crashed and exploded, gutted both lives and properties worth billions of Naira.

A picture of Uchechukwu Ukaepu, one of the victims of the Inferno surfaced online. The picture captured devastated Uche, standing in front of his ruined shop and goods.

This caught the attention of Reno Omokri who began to ask well-meaning Nigerians to donate their tokens in order to restore Uche’s lost goods.

Reno Omokri who is known for always criticising the Buhari led-administration,  went as far as promising to stop opposing the President if he compensates the traders who lost properties in the Onitsha fire Outbreak.

The former Aide to Goodluck Jonathan was not only able to locate the trader identified as Uche but he was also able to raise N1.2m for him.

This was made known by Reno who posted a video with the trader on his Instagram page, saying “God used him to raise N1.2m for him”

According to Reno, “God used me to raise N1.2m for Uchechukwu Ukaepu in 24 hours, yet the man cannot pronounce my name. He calls me Romeo Omakri. When God wants to bless you, it doesn’t matter your limitations. FAVOUR is not FAIR. God does not bless the QUALIFIED. Rather, He QUALIFIES those He blesses. And to Uchechukwu Ukaepu, I say, God bless you and your lovely family. God has turned your MOURNING into a good MORNING. May affliction not arise a second time and may everything you put your hand to do prosper, may you be blessed in the city and blessed in the field and may the sun not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. In Christ’s name. #OnitshaMarketFire #TableShaker
